A quiet moment on the wooden path—where even our furry friend feels part of the story.
At Juan’s Place, every visit becomes a story - some told over coffee, others whispered to the trees, and many simply felt.
I named this blog Monogatari, the Japanese word for “story,” because I’ve always been drawn to places that make me pause and appreciate the moment - just like the gardens of Japan. There’s something about stepping into nature that opens a little door in your mind: it softens you, makes you wonder, and gives your thoughts space to breathe.
I’ve always loved beautiful landscapes. I’ve always loved stories. And here, they meet.
There’s a quiet story in a family’s laughter by the pool.
There’s a playful one in a barkada’s late-night bonfire chats.
Some guests come for silence, some for celebration—but all leave with something more than they arrived with.
Some stories are spoken. Some are written in our guestbook.
Some are captured in photos. Others, in memory.
Monogatari is where those moments live.
Not just mine, but yours too—whether shared out loud or simply carried home in your heart.
Because at Juan’s Place, even just a short visit can leave you with a story worth keeping—and maybe even retelling with a smile.
